The Raspberry Pi has several digital IO (input and output) pins which operate at 3.3 volts but will be damaged if you try to connect 5 volt devices direct to the Raspberry Pi.
Our range of IO expansion boards allow you to connect 5 volt devices to your Raspberry Pi and the stacking design of the IO Pi Plus allows you to add up to 128 additional IO ports to your Raspberry Pi.
