The Breakout Pi Zero is a prototyping board for building projects and experimenting with electronic circuits on a Raspberry Pi. It provides a convenient way to access the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO (general-purpose input/output) pins, allowing you to easily connect sensors, actuators, LEDs, buttons, and other electronic components without the need for complex wiring or soldering directly to the Raspberry Pi itself.
It can be used for building and testing custom circuits, educational projects, and proof-of-concept designs, the board features a large prototyping area with clearly labelled connections and grouped pads, helping to keep your circuit tidy and easy to understand. All of the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins except GPIO 24, ID_SC and ID_SD are broken out into separate pads.
There are 3.3V, 5V and ground rails at the end the board making it easy to power components from your Raspberry Pi without having to run multiple jumper wires..
The Breakout Pi Zero is supplied as a ready-to-solder kit with a 40-pin header to connect to the Raspberry Pi.
Combined with the optional mounting kit, it creates a great platform for long-term use or classroom demonstrations.
