Raspberry Pi B Plus Compatibility
After seeing the initial images and information on Sunday 14th July and the official release yesterday announcing the new Raspberry Pi Model B+ boards, we ordered the new boards from RS Components and they arrived today.
We have been testing the new Raspberry Pi Model B+ board with all of our expansion boards for the Raspberry Pi.
All of our Raspberry Pi expansion boards are all fully compatible with Raspberry Pi Model B+
The mounting kit cannot be used on the new Raspberry Pi Model B+ as the mounting holes on the new board are in a different location from the previous models.
We tested our boards using the latest Raspbian Debian Wheezy image, Version: June 2014. Release date:2014-06-20 from http://www.raspberrypi.org
