We are pleased to announce the launch of our new design and upgrade for our AB Electronics UK online shop for our 5th birthday.
The website has been updated for improved viewing on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, and all our product pages now have quick links to Specifications, Assembly instructions, Compatibility, Code Libraries, Demo programs and Datasheets and a much cleaner layout, which we hope will be easier for our customers to view and find the information they require.
We have a new and updated Python library available to use with our Raspberry Pi development boards. The new version 2.0 update includes several major changes found in the changelog.md in the root of the GitHub repository.
We now have new C++ libraries and demo code available to use with our Raspberry Pi development boards.
The Expander Pi has been redesigned to work with all Raspberry Pi models which use the 40-pin GPIO connector.

One of our customers, Bruno Ferreira, has written a new C library for use with the IO Pi Plus expansion board.
One of our most popular development boards is the IO Pi Plus. This board was based on our old IO Pi but updated to fit the newer HAT style introduced with the Raspberry Pi B+.
The IO Pi Plus has been used by thousands of customers worldwide, and we have received lots of positive feedback about the board and our software libraries. We have also received a few suggestions on ways we could improve the board, and after looking at the most popular suggestions, we are proud to announce a new revised version of the IO Pi Plus, version 2.1.

We have been busy over the Christmas holidays updating our online shop, knowledge base and support forums to ensure that the website pages comply with online accessibility standards and to make the page links easier to read and type if needed.
Almost all the website content met these standards in the past, but some of the forum posts had caused the compliance testing software to report errors so we have updated all content where needed to fix the issues raised.

Four years ago we launched our AB Electronics UK website to sell the Raspberry Pi development boards we design and build in our home workshop.
Since then, our product range has expanded from the initial two Raspberry Pi boards to over 45 boards and accessories for the Raspberry Pi, other small board computers and the Arduino.
We are delighted to announce that we have released new Node.js libraries for several of our Raspberry Pi development boards at AB Electronics UK.
