New Raspberry Pi Zero Boards Now Available

With the release of the Raspberry Pi Zero, the Raspberry Pi Foundation has created one of the smallest and most affordable versions of the Raspberry Pi yet. Measuring just 65mm x 30mm, the Zero offers the same processing power as the original Raspberry Pi Model B but in a compact form factor that makes it ideal for embedded and portable projects.

To support this exciting new addition to the Raspberry Pi range, AB Electronics UK has launched a range of development boards designed specifically to work with the Raspberry Pi Zero. Our new boards retain all the features of our popular Raspberry Pi expansion boards but have been redesigned to fit perfectly with the smaller size and GPIO layout of the Zero.

Our range of Raspberry Pi Zero compatible boards includes:

  • ADC Pi Zero – A 17-bit analogue-to-digital converter board offering up to eight single-ended or four differential inputs for connecting analogue sensors and devices.

  • IO Pi Zero – A 16-channel digital input/output expander, perfect for adding additional GPIO pins to your Raspberry Pi Zero.

  • Serial Pi Zero – A multi-port RS232 interface board that makes it easy to connect serial devices such as GPS receivers, modems, or other microcontrollers.

Each board connects directly to the Raspberry Pi Zero’s GPIO header and can be stacked to build complex systems in a very small footprint.

The Raspberry Pi Zero opens up new possibilities for compact electronics projects, and our range of Zero-compatible expansion boards provides the flexibility and functionality to bring your ideas to life.
