Is mounting kit compatible with Raspberry Pi's Touch Display?

In other words can I stack the mounting kit on top of a Raspberry Pi mounted on a official Raspberry Pi 7" Touch Display?The screws provided to attach Pi to the spacers on the display are M2.5 with a lenght about 5.8 mm..

The thread on the end of the mounting kit is M2.5 and about 5.8mm long so it should screw into the spacers on the touch display.
